The Lost World: Jurassic Park is set four years after the events of the original film and focuses on the fictional Isla Sorna, a deserted island located off Central AmericaвЂ™s Pacific Coast near Costa Rica, where the cloned dinosaurs made by HammondвЂ™s company InGen have been roaming free in their own ecosystem.

Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles. ItвЂ™s been three years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment.
